Tag Heuer x Rowing Blazers Collaboration on a Carrera
Tag Heuer has teamed up with a group of collaborators to introduce a new limited-edition Carrera watch. The result is the Rowing Blazers x Bamford TAG Heuer Carrera, a vibrant interpretation of the Carrera model inspired by vintage Heuer Yacht-Timers.
Drawing inspiration from the vintage Heuer Yacht-Timers worn during regattas in the 1960s and 1970s, this collaboration has adapted the design to fit the modern 42mm case of the Carrera.
The collaboration was initially sparked by a specific vintage Heuer Yacht-Timer owned by Jack Carslon, Carslon was captivated by the design and saw an opportunity to bring it back to life in a contemporary watch. Along the way, the Bamford Watch Department joined forces to contribute to the design process. The resulting Carrera features a bright white dial with cross-hatched subdials in pastel colors, paying homage to the Yacht-Timers of the past. Powering the watch is TAG Heuer's Heuer 02 automatic chronograph caliber.
The Rowing Blazers x Bamford TAG Heuer Carrera is a limited edition with only 99 pieces available, priced at US$ 8,900.
