Longines Latest HydroConquest GMT

Introducing the latest addition to the Longines HydroConquest family: the GMT Collection. Building on the original 2007 model, this new iteration combines the HydroConquest's durability and dive functionality with an added GMT complication for globetrotters.

Crafted with a 41mm redesigned case and bracelet, the HydroConquest GMT boasts enhanced features, including a 300m water-resistant dive capability and a practical GMT function. This function, inspired by Longines' 1925 creation, allows wearers to track two time zones concurrently, making it ideal for travelers.

The case modifications maintain the dive watch aesthetic with a brushed finish, while polished accents on the crown, bezel notches, and bracelet links provide visual contrast. The unidirectional rotating bezel's countdown area is emphasized by luminescent markers, aiding in underwater readability. The dial, available in four sunray-finish colors (green, brown, black, or blue), features gilt or silver hands and markers, ensuring day-night distinction.

Distinctive to the GMT model are rectangular, round, and triangular hour markers, replacing the Arabic numerals at 12, 6, and 9 o'clock. The GMT function is represented by a 24-hour scale on the inner flange. The date window at 3 o'clock is practical for travelers. The watch accommodates various straps – stainless steel, rubber, khaki, or beige NATO, the latter made from recycled material.

Under the engraved steel caseback lies Longines' new GMT calibre, the L844.5. This automatic movement incorporates silicon components, granting it tenfold resistance to magnetic fields compared to the ISO 764 standard. It operates at 25,200vph and offers a substantial 72-hour power reserve.
